OUR STORY

Christ of the Hills Church was established on June 26, 2016, as one of the first church plants in the Texas Presbytery of the Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians (ECO).  Christ of the Hills Church was accepted formally by ECO as a new church plant on November 12, 2016.

We began as a home church, but having outgrown the living room, we moved to the conference center of the Kendall Inn in Boerne, Texas in December 2016. We have now acquired new space at the Boerne Flags Business Park located at 635 Highway 46, East, Suites 101a, 203 and 204, and began worshiping at our new home in March 2019.

We are currently supported by First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio, along with the generous giving of our Christ of the Hills Church family.

OUR MISSION

The members of Christ of the Hills Church are each and collectively committed to the Great Commandment of Christ (love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourselves) and His great commission to go and make disciples, baptizing them and teaching them everything Christ has commanded.

We aspire to have a positive impact on the Boerne area by opening our doors to anyone who wishes to experience the grace of God through the study of the Scriptures, preaching of the Word of God and ministry to the needs of others.

ECO is a relatively new Presbyterian denomination, founded in 2012. Its Theology and Biblical Doctrine is orthodox and strictly biblically focused. Its Essential Tenants include the authority of God's Word, the Holy Trinity, the Incarnation of Christ, and living in obedience to God's Word. ECO has no social or political agenda except that which is specifically provided for in the Scriptures.
